Come have FUN and play BINGO!  The game where balls fly around in machines and players dab their cards with free daubers. If you’ve been before, you know it is a BLAST; if you haven’t, it’s time to see what you’ve been missing!

Bingo Photo Group REVAssistance League of Greater Placer is hosting our 11th annual Bingo Round-Up: Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

Bingo is a game of chance! Of course the object is to WIN CASH, but playing Bingo in a room full of people is a lot of FUN! Everyone is playing the same game together and there is a friendly competition between you and the people around you. You are able to see how close you are to winning, and hope for that last number to complete the Bingo pattern!  The people at the table where you are sitting erupt in congratulations when you shout “BINGO”, while other players elsewhere in the room audibly sigh and groan.  And then everyone is on to the next game with a renewed hope to WIN!

Help us transform this empty Blue Goose Event Center (3550 Taylor Road, Loomis) to a room filled with enthusiastic Bingo players.

When I questioned a few of my friends, “Why Play Bingo”?  They responded:

* A great time to spend with friends and Assistance League enthusiastic volunteers.

“I’m always working the event that day, so I never get the chance to play BINGO.   I have a FUN time too!”

* making a contribution for Assistance League philanthropic programs

* to WIN!  Friendly competition and chatter between players.

“I’m always shocked I don’t win. I always expect to, even though I don’t”.

* the social atmosphere with family, friends, and possibly new acquaintances

* California Tic Tac® “quickie” games are played in between regular games with cards sold separately ($1) by our western dressed volunteers. Players typically only play one or two cards and the numbers are called as quickly as the bingo balls come out. Another chance to win CASH!

“Mmm, such great chuck wagon menu choices available for purchase. Choices include pulled pork sliders with coleslaw; hot dog with potato salad; miso vegetarian burrito with tortilla chips, Caesar salad with or without chicken and desserts. Plus beverages… including Beer & Wine!”

*high end raffle baskets and silent auction experiences

*this year’s new Wall of Wine = Another game of chance! Bottles of wine for each Bingo Session are wrapped so labels can’t be seen, and then the bottles are numbered.  Each person who buys a $10 numbered wine bottle CORK, wins the donated bottle of wine with the corresponding number. A $10 raffle ticket may win a $100 bottle of wine or a $10 one.
